 ter 2021\n\n20x20x20 presents a format engaging the guest professors at th
 e EPFL School of Architecture — two 20 minute presentations by two guest
  professors followed by a 20 minute moderated discussion.\n\nGuests biogra
 phy\n\nPhilipp Schaerer is a visual artist and architect\, specializing i
 n the field of digital image processing. His work is at the intersection o
 f architecture\, photography and graphic design. He explores image strateg
 ies which can be abstract\, model-like and exaggerated\, and which are thu
 s able to reformulate the question of the differentiation between the real
  and the artificial. His work has been published and exhibited repeatedly 
 and is represented in several private and public collections – among oth
 ers in The Museum of Modern Art MoMA in New York\, The Centre Pompidou in 
 Paris and the The Center for Art and Media Technology in Karlsruhe (ZKM). 
 Philipp has been a lecturer at several universities and\, from 2014-15\, a
  visiting professor in the department of Architecture (Art et Architecture
 ) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Philipp
  Schaerer lives and works in Zurich and Steffisburg/CH.\n\nCo-founded by 
 Pablo Martínez and Mar Santamaria (architects and urban planners by th
 e School of Architecture of Barcelona)\, 300.000 Km/s is an urbanism agenc
 y specialising in the analysis and visualisation of data for information-d
 riven public policies and strategic planning. We have a strong background 
 in using new forms of information (open\, social and big data) to address 
 contemporary urban and territorial challenges through diagnosis\, reports\
 , planning and participation. Advising main local authorities in Spain (Ba
 rcelona City Council and Catalan Government among others) provides cutting
 -edge experience in the realm of public administration and sustainable dev
 elopment goals. Recently\, we have been awarded the Catalan urbanism Award
  (2020\, the Spanish National Urbanism Prize (2019) and the S+T+ARTS Prize
  from the European Commission (2019).\n\nAlexandros Fotakis born and rais
 ed in Athens\, he studied mechanical engineering at the University of Manc
 hester and the Imperial College London and architecture at ETSA Madrid and
  EPF Lausanne where he graduated under Prof. Gugger. Independent architec
 t since 2017 in-between Greece and Switzerland\, active in architectural 
 education.Currently he teaches architectural project for Studio GayMenzel 
 at the EPF Lausanne and architectural history and theory at HEPIA in Genev
 a.
