DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Ovarian Cancer 
 Research Program (OCRP) Awards. The OCRP Investigator-Initiated Research A
 ward is intended to support high-impact research that addresses a critical
  need and has the potential to make an important contribution to ovarian c
 ancer or patient/survivor care.  Research projects may focus on any phase
  of research\, from basic laboratory research through translational resear
 ch\, excluding clinical trials. Applications must include preliminary data
  that are relevant to ovarian cancer and support the proposed research pro
 ject. These data may be unpublished or from the published literature\nFund
 ing:         max. $600’000 ($800’000 if partnering PI option)\n
 \nDuration:       4 years\n\nEligibility: Investigators at or above t
 he level of Assistant Professor (or equivalent) are eligible to be named a
 s a Principal Investigator (PI)\, Initiating PI\, or Partnering PI on an a
 pplication. An eligible PI\, regardless of ethnicity\, nationality\, or ci
 tizenship status\, must be employed by\, or affiliated with\, an eligible 
 organization. Foreign organizations\, foreign public entities\, and intern
 ational organizations\, are eligible to apply.\nHow to Apply: Pre-applicat
 ions are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They should contain contact
  information\, a preproposal narrative\, and a list of collaborators and k
 ey personnel as suggested on the platform. Full applications (by invitatio
