DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Scholarship Service of swissuniversities has the plea
 sure to inform you that the call for applications for the Fulbright Foreig
 n Student Program and the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for the 2022-
 2023 academic year is now open.\n\nThe Fulbright Foreign Student Program o
 ffers students with Swiss citizenship and English proficiency funding to p
 ursue studies at the master’s or Ph.D. level. This can be done at any re
 cognized institution of higher education in the United States in any field
  of study except law and medicine (not including Public Health or medical 
 research)\, dentistry\, and veterinary medicine. Candidates from Universit
 ies of Applied Sciences and Arts are particularly welcome to apply. The gr
 ants are four to ten months in length and not renewable. They are to be us
 ed toward the cost of tuition and other academic expenses. In general\, a 
 grant for one academic year is about $20\,000.\n\nThe Fulbright Visiting S
 cholar Program is a non-degree\, post-doctoral award program for researche
 rs\, university lecturers and experts from academic institutions in Switze
 rland who wish to conduct post-doctoral research\, lecture\, or pursue com
 bined lecturing and research in the United States. All candidates must cur
 rently be affiliated with one of the universities or research institutions
  in Switzerland. Candidates from Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts
  are particularly welcome to apply. Grants are available for the period be
 tween August 2022 and July 2023 for periods of a minimum of three months t
