DESCRIPTION:The FEBS Fellowships programme began in 1979\, and became a hi
 ghly competitive and respected programme for early-stage researchers thank
 s to rigorous selection methods and the packages offered. Most of its sche
 mes over the years have supported graduate students and early-career resea
 rchers in the molecular life sciences in the FEBS area to move to and carr
 y out a period of research in a lab in a different FEBS country\, thus bro
 adening their experience and training\, giving access to additional resear
 ch techniques and expertise\, and facilitating international collaboration
 .\n\nFEBS currently offers Short-Term Fellowships\, Collaborative Developm
 ental Scholarships and Summer Fellowships. Short-Term Fellowships are for 
 scientists who have obtained their PhD degree within the past six years\, 
 and PhD students who have at least one published paper as a main author in
  an international scientific journal. Collaborative Developmental Scholars
 hips are for PhD students in certain disadvantaged FEBS countries. Summer 
 Fellowships are for PhD students and Master’s students. All are for rese
 archers studying or working in a FEBS country and wishing to move to a dif
 ferent country in the FEBS area for the duration of the Fellowship. In add
 ition\, candidates for Short-Term Fellowships and Collaborative Developmen
 tal Scholarships need to be a member of one of the FEBS Constituent Societ
 ies. \n\nFEBS is pleased to announce the launch of a prestigious new sche
 me from 2021 – the FEBS Excellence Award – to support early-career gro
 up leaders in the FEBS area. FEBS Excellence Awards provide funding for re
 search equipment and consumables over a 3-year period.\n\nDeadlines:\n\n	S
