 Horizon Europe is the new Framework Programme of the European Commission f
 or Research and Innovation.\nCluster 5 is a combination of three interrela
 ted themes: Climate\, Energy and Mobility. It is a major element of Pillar
  II of Horizon Europe (Global Challenges & European Industrial Competitive
 ness) with an expected budget of over 15 billion Euros i.e. about 1/6 of t
 he total budget of Horizon Europe. Nearly a third of all collaborative H20
 20 projects of EPFL were (or still are) related to the three themes of Clu
 ster 5.\n\nAim \nHorizon Europe will support Researchers and Innovators to
  fight climate change\, improve the competitiveness of the energy and tran
 sport industry as well as the quality of the services that these sectors b
 ring to society. With this session you will discover the funding opportuni
 ties of Horizon Europe available in 2021-22 in your field and how to apply
  for them.\nYou can find a draft of the Work Programme for Cluster 5 here 
 (click on Climate\, energy and mobility… February 2021 version 2*).\nThe
  official Calls should open in April.\nThe first deadlines are expected in
  late August this year.\n\nProgramme  \nThe event will start with a very 
 brief presentation of three centers directly related to the themes of Clus
 ter 5\, CEN\, TRACE and CLIMACT.\nThen\, National Contact Points will desc
 ribe in details the funding opportunities for the three topics Climate\, E
