DESCRIPTION:The Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK) is a non-p
 rofit organization which has been conducting clinical trials in oncology s
 ince 1965. SAKK is a competence center in clinical cancer research for aut
 horities\, associations and pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland. \n\n
 Many types of blood cancer remain incurable and are associated with severe
  morbidity and increased mortality. SAKK’s HEM Pioneer Grant is funded b
 y Celgene GmbH and aims to support projects and research that could potent
 ially pave the way for a game changing outcome in the field of blood cance
 rs.\n\nEligible Projects:\n\n	intends to pave the way for a potentially ga
 me-changing impact in the field of hemato-oncological diseases including t
 heir premalignancies.\n	has a research nature (e.g. clinical or translatio
 nal research\, database/registry research\, working and patient care model
 s\, assessment tools\, etc.).\n	must not be a basic science project.\n	may
  focus on aspects such as treatment approaches\, mode of action of drugs\,
  mode of disease\, interdisciplinary communication/collaboration\, etc.\n	
 is conducted in Switzerland.\n	is planned or ongoing.\n\n\nWho can apply: 
 practicing physician\, clinical researcher or professional in a patient ca
 re institution/society with primary place of research in Switzerland.\n\nF
