DESCRIPTION:Kathryn Hess Bellwald\nBryn Keller\nElizabeth Munch\nMarco Arm
 enta\nNicolas Berkouk\nRickard Brüel-Gabrielsson\nShusen Liu\nThe Applied
Machine Learning Days are one of the largest machine learning & AI events
in Europe\, focused specifically on the applications of machine learning
and AI\, making it particularly interesting to industry and academia.\nEac
 h month\, a domain-specific track will feature top-level speakers\, discus
sions and keynotes. Some tracks will be preceded or followed by a workshop
day focussed on hand-on sessions\, coding classes and tutorials.\n\nOn Ma
 y 10th we'll be hosting AI & Topology.\nTopological Data Analysis (TDA) is
a rapidly growing field with tremendous potential for improving machine l
earning pipelines\, unboxing the most intricate deep networks\, and creati
ng new geometric features from data.\nSince the knowledge barrier that pro
tects TDA might scare some data scientists\, the purpose of this track is
not only to showcase TDA as a complementary tool to machine learning\, but
also to lower this barrier and make TDA more intuitive and accessible.\nT
he speakers of this track are all renowned leaders in the topics they pres
ent\; dynamical system analysis using TDA\, analysis of deep networks with
TDA\, feature engineering via TDA\, data visualisation and dimensionality
reduction are the main topics discussed in this track.
