DESCRIPTION:Established in Basel in 1989\, the Novartis Forschungsstiftung
  (Novartis Research Foundation) aims to develop and commercialize new prod
 ucts that contribute to the progress of humanity through advances in scien
 ce and health. To encourage unconventional thinking and enhance the attrac
 tiveness of Switzerland as a centre for research\, in 2016 the Foundation 
 launched FreeNovation: a programme aimed at encouraging unconventional\, r
 adical projects related to biomedical research with the ultimate aim to pr
 ovide healthcare solutions for patients.\n\nEvery year\, the foundation or
 ganizes an event to present the supported projects.\n\nRegistration for th
 e 4th FreeNovation Science Forum is now open.\n\nAt this event\, the laure
 ates of the 2019 FreeNovation call will present the results obtained in th
 eir projects in the area of Systems Medicine.\n\nDate: Wednesday\, 19 May 
 2021 from 9:30 - 14:00\n\nRegistered participants will receive this progra
 m with the links to the on-line plenary session and the parallel sessions.
 \n\nThe event is open to scientists from Swiss universities and from Novar
