DESCRIPTION: \nAre you working on an innovative project that can help tac
 kle society’s most pressing economic\, societal and environmental needs?
 \nSwitzerland Innovation in collaboration with EPFL Tech4Impact\, is fundi
 ng 5 to 7 selected projects with a one-year project grant between CHF 85.0
 00 each.\n\nThe objective of the “Switzerland Innovation Tech4Impact In
 itiative” is to facilitate and promote the devel-opment of ground-breaki
 ng innovation projects that focus on real market applications in collabora
 tion with Swiss universities as well as entrepreneurs and SMEs collaborati
 ng with research/academic partners.\nThis initiative is led by Switzerland
  Innovation supported by innovation partners\, i.e. ABB\, Credit Suisse\, 
 Die Mobiliar\, Economiesuisse\, Interpharma\, Schindler\, Swiss Re Foundat
 ion\, Swisscom\, UBS\, Zurich. The program is powered by the École polyte
 chnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Tech4Impact.\n\nThis second Call for
  Proposals focuses on solutions that have the potential to tackle the foll
 owing SDGs:\n●  SDG 3 Good health and well-being\n●  SDG 7 Affordabl
 e and clean energy\n●  SDG 9 Industry\, innovation\, and infrastructure
 \n●  SDG 11 Sustainable cities and communities\n●  SDG 12 Responsibl
 e consumption and production\n●  SDG 13 Climate action\n \nThe program
  is open exclusively to:\n\n\n	research groups from Swiss universities\n	p
 ostdocs and PhD students (no masters or bachelor students)\n	scientific st
 aff from University of Applied Sciences or Research Institute\n	spin-offs 
 and early-stage startups linked to a university* research group\n	SMEs wit
 h an innovation project to be carried out in cooperation with a research p
 artners\n\n\n* Including Universities of Applied Sciences and Research Ins
 titutes\n \nTo qualify for a grant\, the proposed project must:\n\n\n	dea
 l with a technological innovation\n	address a pressing social\, economic\,
  and/or environmental problem in at least one of the six predefined Sustai
 nable Development Goals\n	achieved TRL 4 but not exceed the maturity level
  of TRL 7 according to the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) system\n	provi
 de evidence of cooperation with one of the innovation parks of Switzerland
