DESCRIPTION:The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is participating 
 in a multilateral call for proposals within the scope of the Southeast Asi
 a – Europe Joint Funding Scheme.\n\nThe Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) bring
 s together Southeast Asian and European researchers to collaborate on topi
 cs of interest for both sides. The JFS is a scheme for the multilateral po
 oling of resources to support collaborative projects.  \n\nThe call is op
 en to the following thematic areas:\n\n	Sustainable food production (inclu
 ding nanotechnologies in sustainable food production)\n	Climate change: re
 silience and adaptation (including social sciences-related and health-rela
 ted climate change aspects)\n\n\nResearchers in all disciplines are invite
 d to submit project proposals that fit the thematic scope of the call.\n\n
 Who can apply: \n\n\n	Each consortium must consist of at least three resea
 rch groups from three different countries\; at least one person from each 
 region must meet the eligibility criteria.\n	Applicants from Switzerland m
 ust be eligible for SNSF project funding. Please have a look at the EPFL T
 oolkit for Project Funding. The SNSF invites you to contact them (internat
 ional@snf.ch) to verify your eligibility and discuss your intentions.\n\n\
 nFunding: For Swiss applicants\, a maximum amount of CHF 250’000.- is al
 located per project.\n\nDuration: max. 3 years (36 months).\n\nDeadline fo
 r proposals: 15 October 2021 at 12:00 (noon) CEST. \n\nFor further informa
