DESCRIPTION:Aim:  In 2021\, Merck is offering a series of research grants
  to stimulate innovative research in challenging areas of future importanc
 e.  Grants are available in the following areas of interest:\n\n	Drug Dis
 covery\n	Real time testing and sensors\n	Nanoparticle for nucleic acid del
 ivery\n	Digital Innovation\n	Bioelectronics\n	Sustainability\n	Media recyc
 ling for cultured meat\n	Organoids\n\nFor more information on the various 
 topic areas\, see here.\n\nFunding: up to 450\,000 EUR/year (depending on 
 topic area)\n\nDuration: 2-3 years (depending on topic area)\n\nEligibilit
 y: The Merck research grants program is open to scientists in all career 
 stages who are affiliated with any research-based institution\, university
  or company. You may apply for more than one grant or submit your applicat
 ion for more than one focus topic.\n\nHow to Apply: Applicants submit thei
 r application for the focus topics containing non-confidential information
  only. If your application is successful\, you will be invited to submit a
  full proposal under confidentiality and join a deep-dive workshop with th
 e other finalists. All applicants will be informed about the decision of t
 he selection committee at the beginning of October. \n\nDeadline:
