DESCRIPTION:Gebert Rüf Stiftung (GRS) was established in 1998 by entrepre
 neur Heinrich Gebert as a science and innovation foundation. Its objective
  is to promote «Switzerland as a top location for business and as a place
  to live». As a private funding agency guided by its mission statement «
 making science effective»\, it supports entrepreneurial projects\, which 
 are committed to achieving an impact.\n\nThe programme Scientainment is fo
 r interdisciplinary teams working on projects that address the need for a 
 low-threshold way of communicating about education\, research and innovati
 on\, combining entertainment with the transfer of knowledge. It promotes t
 he development of new forms of science dialogue in collaboration with repr
 esentatives of non-scientific target groups in Switzerland. Marketing camp
 aigns\, institutional PR work and science communication are NOT supported.
 \n\nWho can apply: applicants employed within the science community and ot
 her sectors (e.g. sport\, pop culture\, entertainment\, new media) in Swit
 zerland. Non independent researchers must join a Letter of Support from He
 ad of their Unit.\n\nFunding: no upper or lower limit (the level of fundin
 g and duration of approved projects can be found at this link).\n\nEligibl
 e costs: Salaries and Material costs\nDoes NOT cover: Infrastructure\, Equ
 ipment and Overheads.\n\nDeadline\n\n	Stage 1: submit a maximum 6 page pro
 posal and online application form via the web portal.\n	Proposal: 1 Februa
 ry\, 1 May\, 1 September and 1 December (every year) at 23:59 -> Decision 
 after 3 months.\n	Application: upon invitation -> Decision after 3 month.\
