DESCRIPTION:The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) awards Ambizione 
 grants to outstanding postdoctoral researchers who intend to pursue a scie
 ntific or an academic career at a Swiss research institution. The purpose 
 of the Ambizione grant is to help researchers build their scientific profi
 le and become scientifically self-reliant at an early stage with an indepe
 ndent research project. Ambizione grants are open to researchers from all 
 disciplines.\n\nEligibility\n\n	1-4 years after doctoral exam + min. 1 yea
 r of postdoctoral research\;\n	Professors in permanent or temporary employ
 ment\, with or without tenure track\, are not eligible.\n\nEPFL support\nA
 s a Host Institution\, EPFL welcomes outstanding candidates under the foll
 owing conditions:\n\n\n	An EPFL Professor is ready to support and host the
  candidate for the entire duration of the project\;\n	The HR manager\, Dir
 ector of Institute\, Dean of School (or Head of ENT-R/I/E) and\, if applic
 able\, Head of Equipment give their approvals to host the candidate.\n\nAp
