DESCRIPTION:The Swiss Polar Day is the annual networking event for the Swi
 ss polar and high-altitude research community. For the edition 2021\, on F
 riday 1 October\, we cordially invite you to a day of presentations\, disc
 ussions and updates on Swiss polar science. International and Swiss speake
 rs will present current initiatives and fieldwork and ample time will also
  be allocated for networking and exchange.\n\nPlease take note that the ev
 ent will be held in English and will be followed by a networking drink\, f
 rom 16:30.\n\nFor the time being\, the health situation allows the event t
 o be planned in person\, while following appropriate health measures and r
 ules in place. Please note that should the situation change\, we will adap
 t the format accordingly and the event will remain on the same date.\n\nFo
