DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The Water Research Foundation engages exclusively in no
 nprofit\, charitable\, and educational activities designed to initiate\, s
 upervise\, coordinate\, promote\, and finance research in the technology\,
  operation\, and management of water\, wastewater\, reuse and stormwater c
 ollection\, treatment and supply systems\, towards ensuring water quality 
 and improving water service to the public.\n\nThe Research Priority Progra
 m enables WRF to address broadly relevant subscriber issues\, challenges\,
  and opportunities with targeted strategic plans for priority Research Are
 as. On the other hand\, the Emerging Opportunities (EO) Program enables WR
 F Staff to sponsor time-critical research on emergent\, high-priority subs
 criber issues.\n\nBoth of these programs currently have open Requests for 
 Proposals:\n\n	[RP] Demonstration of innovation to improve pathogen remova
 l\, validation\, and/or monitoring in carbon based advanced treatment (CBA
 T) for potable reuse\n	[RP] Advancement of Densification to Implement and 
 Achieve More Efficient BNR Processes: Granule Generation\, Retention and M
 anagement\n	[RP] Holistic Wet Weather Management through Adaptive Volume a
 nd Pollutant Source Control at a Community Scale: Finding the Sweet Spot\n
 	[EO] Advancing Adaptive Wet Weather Management Approaches to Meet Emergin
 g Challenges for Extreme Snowstorms and Cold Climate Impacts\n\n\nFunding:

 ic (~ 9-24 months)\n\nEligibility: Proposals will be accepted from domesti
 c or international entities\, including educational institutions\,  resea
 rch organizations\, governmental agencies\, and consultants or other for-p
 rofit entities.\n\nHow to Apply: Proposals submitted in response to this R
 FP must be prepared in accordance with the WRF document  Guidelines for R
 esearch Priority Program Proposals. The current version of these guideline
 s is available here\, along with Instructions for Budget Preparation. The 
 guidelines contain instructions for the technical aspects\, financial stat
 ements\, indirect costs\, and  administrative requirements that the appli
 cant must follow when preparing a proposal. If you have any questions on t
