DESCRIPTION:The CSP ERANET Additional Call 2021 is carried out by national
  and regional research and technology development (RTD) and innovation pro
 grammes\, and national and regional Funding Agencies in the field of conce
 ntrating solar power (CSP) or solar thermal electricity (STE). CSP ERANET 
 is supported by the European Commission within the EU Framework Programme 
 for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020.\n\nThe Project will be based on 
 the research and priorities identified in the SET Plan and the CSP Impleme
 ntation Plan\, prioritizing 8 topics focused on electricity production:\n\
 n	Advanced linear Fresnel technology\n	Parabolic trough with molten salt\n
 	Parabolic trough with silicon oil\n	Open volumetric air receiver\n	Improv
 ed central receiver molten salt technology\n	Next generation of central re
 ceiver power plants\n	Multi-tower beam down system\n	Advanced TES (Thermal
  Energy Storage)\n\n\nThe project consortium has to involve at least 3 par
 tners from 2 different countries participating in the CSP ERANET Additiona
 l Call and providing funding to the project selected. At least one partner
  in the consortium has to be from industry.\n\nEvery project participant i
 s funded by the funding organisation of their own country/region according
  to their specific rules\, for Swiss-based applicants the Swiss Federal Of
 fice of Energy (SFOE). Not all programmes / funding agencies will accept a
 pplications in all topics. For a list of the SFOE eligible topics and area
  / sub-topics within this call\, please see Table 2 and p.10 of the Guidel
 ines.\n\nA direct contact with SFOE contact point (Table 1 of the Guidelin
 es) is mandatory before any electronic submission (at least 2 weeks before
  submission) to check the project idea and national / regional specific re
 quirements.\n\nDuration: max. 36 months\n\nBudget for Swiss applicants: 25
 0’000 Euros\n\nSFOE eligible applicants: private and public sector entit
 ies\, namely higher education institution\, public research organisation\,
  public organisation\, private – SME (Industry)\, private – large comp
 anies (Industry)\, private – Non-profit research organization.\n\nSFOE e
 ligible costs: limited to 40% of the eligible project costs\, which are th
 e additional project costs that cannot be amortized over the expected life
 time of the developed installation or solution\, i.e. additional costs com
 pared to the costs of implementing an equivalent\, conventional technology
  or solution (see also p.26 of the Guidelines).\nFunding is primarily prov
 ided for pilot and demonstration project with TRL>5 (exceptionally TRL4).\

 here) and via the Electronic Submission System\nFull-proposal (upon invita
 tion): using both CSP ERANET and SFOE full-proposal forms\n\nDeadlines\nPr
