 r 2021 - please register here\n\nThe film “Picture a scientist” chroni
 cles the groundswell of researchers who are writing a new chapter for wome
 n scientists. Biologist Nancy Hopkins\, chemist Raychelle Burks\, and geol
 ogist Jane Willenbring lead viewers on a journey deep into their own exper
 iences in the sciences\, ranging from obvious harassment to years of subtl
 e slights. Along the way\, from cramped laboratories to spectacular field 
 stations\, we encounter scientific luminaries - including social scientist
 s\, neuroscientists\, and psychologists - who provide new perspectives on 
 how to make science itself more diverse\, equitable and open to all.\n \n
 In the panel discussion\, the panellists will share their views on discrim
 ination and discuss how science can become a more diverse and welcoming pl
