DESCRIPTION:Aim\n\nThe Cancer Research Institute Clinc and Laborator Integ
 ration Program (CLIP) supports pre-clinical and translational research tha
 t can be directly applied to optimizing cancer immunotherapy in the clinic
 .  CLIP grants are awarded to qualified scientists exploring clinically r
 elevant questions aimed at improving the effectiveness of cancer immunothe
 rapies.\n\nAvailable funding\n\nTechnology Impact Awards provide up to $10
 0\,000 per year for two years. The funds may be used for salary\, technica
 l assistance\, supplies\, capital equipment\, or scientific travel. CRI do
 es not provide funds for indirect costs. Payments are made quarterly in U.
 S. currency to the host institution.\n\nRequirements\n\n	The grant will su
 pport pre-clinical and translational research\, which will provide informa
 tion that can be directly applied to optimizing cancer immunotherapy in th
 e clinic.\n	Candidates must hold a faculty appointment as a tenure-track a
 ssistant professor (or higher rank) at the time of award activation. If no
 t\, documentation from their institution must accompany the Letter of Inte
 nt indicating they will hold the position of assistant professor (or hig
 her rank) by the time of award activation.\n	CRI has no citizenship restri
 ctions\, and research supported by the award may be conducted at medical s
 chools and research centers in the United States or abroad.\n\nHow to appl
