DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The  Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) is pleased to an
 nounce a Request for Proposals (RFP)  or pre-clinical\, translational\, a
 nd early clinical research with the potential to produce unusually high im
 pact\, near-term advancements in melanoma prevention\, detection\, diagnos
 is\, staging\, and treatment. \n\nProposals will be accepted for  the Yo
 ung Investigator Awards and Pilot Awards\, which are summarized below. Ful
 l details can be found in the RFP.\n \n\n	Yong Investigator Program: Earl
 y career faculty with original ideas into the field of melanoma. Three yea
 rs of funding at up to $85K per year. Applicants must be within the first 
 five years of their first independent academic faculty appointment. Eligib
 ility check due 03-Nov-2020.\n\n \n\n\n	Pilot Award: Senior investigators
  who propose potentially transformative ideas that do not have extensive p
 reliminary data but articulate a clear hypothesis and translational goals.
  Applicants must be senior investigators\, past the first five years of th
 eir first academic faculty appointment. Funding up to $50K/year for 2 year
 s.\n\n\nHow to Apply: All letters of intent and full proposals should be s
 ubmitted via proposalCENTRAL.  During the submission\, you will be prompt
 ed to enter details for the Host Institution. If EPFL will serve as you ho
 st institution\, please enter the name exactly as: Ecole Polytechnique Fé
