 a homotopy type giving rise to a homotopy theory of small categories studi
 ed by Quillen\, Thomason and Grothendieck. To generalize this picture to h
 igher categories\, one needs an analogous nerve functor. But there exists
  plenty of possibilities! The purpose of this talk will be to explain gen
 eralities about comparison of nerve functors and to show that the for str
 ict n-categories the multi-simplicial nerve\, the cellular nerve and Stre
 et's nerve are all equivalent.
