The Institute of Electrical and Micro Engineering (IEM) and the Section of Electrical Engineering (SEL) of the EPFL School of Engineering (STI) are happy to invite you to two special seminars on Education.

16h30: Dr. Adil Koukab, EPFL Section of Electrical Engineering (SEL)
Poly-Teaching Technics for Polytechnic Students

Bio
Adil Koukab received his M.S. and Ph.D. from Supélec and Metz University, France and has been with EPFL Department of Electrical Engineering since 2000 as a research associate and lecturer. His research interests include analog, RF, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. He teaches four magistral courses and six labs at the Bachelor and Master levels in three different institutes of EPFL. Additionally, he serves as a scientific staff representative on the STI Council and a faculty representative on the EPFL Teaching Council.

17h15: Dr. André Hodder, EPFL Section of Electrical Engineering (SEL)
EPFLoop - Training students : from competitions to research

Bio
André Hodder received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 1999 and 2004. He is a lecturer and a scientific collaborator at EPFL in the field of electrical machines, energy conversion and embedded motor control. He teaches 3 courses and 5 labs at bachelor and master level in 3 different sections of EPFL. Recently, his teaching activities include advising students for multidisciplinary projects related to international student competitions (i.e., SpaceX hyperloop pod competition, formula students, Monaco solar & energy boat challenge).
