After eight vibrant editions, the City of Renens and ECAL invite you to a special retrospective evening celebrating the Innovation by Design Challenge. This event has spotlighted local innovation and the pivotal role of design in shaping entrepreneurial success.

- 6:00 PM – Welcome Address Jean-François Clément, Mayor of Renens
- 6:10 PM – Innovation by Design: The Value of Design in a Startup Conversation with Melvin Haas, Founder & CEO of Isochronic, and François Lafortune, Industrial Designer
- 6:30 PM – Collaborating for Change: The Power of Design Talk by Maxime Zenderoudi, Art Director at Micasa
- 7:00 PM – Closing & Networking Apéritif
Held each November during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Innovation by Design Challenge connects young designers with emerging startups to reimagine products and services through the lens of design. It’s a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs, designers, and regional economic players to exchange ideas, get inspired, and enjoy a convivial evening in the iconic ECAL building, alongside members of the Renens Municipality.
