The aim of this workshop is to discuss and enhance PhD students' and postdocs' awareness on the gender dimension in research and innovation. The workshop will provide you with tools to assess the relevance of the gender dimension in your research and to identify appropriate methods to integrate the gender dimension in research and innovation, taking into account the design, the implementation, and the application of the results. Indeed, awareness about gender perspectives in research is becoming increasingly relevant both in research funding and publication.
The workshop will be animated by two internationally renowned experts, Prof. Carole Clair and Dr. Joëlle Schwarz from the Center for Primary Care and Public Health, University of Lausanne. A case study will also be presented by Prof. Josie Hughes from EPFL STI. Finally, Dr. Nele Gheldof and Dr. Arnaud Lalive, from the EPFL Research Office, will give useful tips on grant writing.
