Erna Hamburger Prize

EPFL-WISH Foundation (Women in Science and Humanities Foundation) was established on the initiative of the female professors of EPFL with the aim of encouraging the research and promotion of women at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Among other actions, each year the Foundation acknowledges the accomplishments of a distinguished personality by attributing the Erna Hamburger Prize to a woman in science or engineering who has greatly influenced and shaped her field.

The Laureate of the 2013 Erna Hamburger Prize is Professor Dame Julia King. You are invited to participate to her conference, its title is "Climate Change: Challenge & Opportunity"
