100 women and thousands more

The 100 Women and Thousands More Project is a communication and awareness campaign to highlight 100 women for their outstanding professional careers, among thousands of others, in the regions concerned. By offering atypical careers and showing that leadership is also a female domain, it is setting these women up as role models for the younger generations. Their profiles are compiled in a publication. Among them, 28 have agreed to play the video portrait game, they will be broadcasted on a digital platform dedicated to the campaign.

This campaign is part of the Interreg PILE project and a swissuniversities cooperation project (module B). It is conducted by the Equality Department of the University of Geneva (UNIGE) in collaboration with the Universities of Svizzera italiana (USI) and Franche-Comté (UFC), l’École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), la Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale (HES-SO), the Office for the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Violence in the Canton of Geneva (BPEV), as well as the Office for Equality between Women and Men of the Canton of Vaud (BEFH).
