To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing, the Space Center EPFL will organize a special event on Friday 25 September 2009 at EPFL. Astronauts Claude Nicollier (ESA, Switzerland) and Donald R. Pettit (NASA, USA) will be our special guests as well as other distinguised speakers such a Prof. Johannes Geiss (University of Bern) who designed the first experiment deployed by the Appollo-11 astronauts to measure sun radiation on the surface of the Moon.
