cinq architectes ° cinq pays ° trois projets, public conférences
For this series of lectures, 5 different architects from 5 different European countries were asked to give an insight into their work practice. Each office will present 3 projects in detail from the first sketch to the final construction plans. One of the presented projects will be the office’s very first building, which will help answer the
question of how to start an architectural office. The other two projects will demonstrate the individual offices’ different signatures and the different strategies they pursue to realize architectural ideas in the specific local context. The lectures will illustrate an individual practical approach to architecture and provide an overview
of the contemporary architectural trends in Europe.

AllesWirdGut, Wien
Since 1997, AllesWirdGut has been working on projects of different scales – ranging from urban strategies to interior design. Their pragmatic approach seeks to identify the potential of the given context. By seeing“problems” as opportunities, new unexpected possibilities come to light. In recent years they have realized
projects such as the Zivilschutzzentrum Innichen (2007), the renovation of the Festspielgelände Römersteinbruch (2008), the Niederösterreich-Haus Krems (2010), and the Herzberg housing complex (2011).
