In the talk I will explain a new equivalence relation between character triples. The notion of a character triple describes the Clifford theory associated to an irreducible ordinary character of a normal subgroup inside a bigger group.
Thanks to various good properties of this equivalence relation one can prove that Dade's projective conjecture is a consequence of a strengthened version of Dade's equivariant conjecture, whose formulation uses this specific equivalence relation between character triples.
