The Ambros Lüthi Foundation promotes scientific research and teaching in the field of economics, with an emphasis on ethical and/or ecological questions.
Every two years, the Foundation awards a Prize of CHF 5’000 to an achieved research work.
The research work must:
- Pertain to one of the following categories: scientific works (for example, master dissertations, doctoral theses, articles, books), scientific projects in the process of realization, and other projects.
- Have been at least substantially accomplished within the 3 years preceding the submission.
- Address at least one of the following areas:
- socio-economic studies
- econometric studies
- studies of alternative economic models
- projects on scientific, technological or organizational innovation and/or their technology transfer.
- Must be of economic, business and/or environmental ethical importance.
Who can apply: any person affiliated with a university of applied sciences or a research institute in Switzerland.
Deadline: 30 April 2024
Decision: September 2024

- 1. Description summarizing the project (1 page max.) consisting of:
- 1.1 Title of the project
- 1.2 Keywords characterizing the issues addressed in the project
- 1.3 Abstract of the project
- 2. Information about each member of the project (1 page max.):
- 2.1 Family name, first name and date of birth
- 2.2 Academic title and discipline
- 2.3 Institution, department and function
- 2.4 Postal address, telephone number and email address
- 3. The research project
- 1. Description summarizing the project (1 page max.) consisting of:
