Aim: The AACR-John and Elizabeth Leonard Family Foundation Basic Cancer Research Fellowship encourages and supports postdoctoral and clinical research fellows to establish a successful career path in cancer research. The proposed project may be in any area of basic cancer research.
Duration: 1 year
Funding: $130,000 USD

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be AACR Active members. Non-members can apply for membership online. Please review the Membership Categories for the category that best fits your qualifications.
- There are no citizenship requirements, and the call is open to research institutions anywhere in the world.
- Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) in a related field and not currently be a candidate for a further doctoral degree. At the start of the grant term on July 1, 2025, applicants must hold a mentored research position with the title of postdoctoral fellow, clinical research fellow, or the equivalent.
