Bridging positivity with the S-matrix Bootstrap
Dimension six operators in the SM are of central importance in the quest for new physics at the LHC. Unfortunately, the associated Wilson coefficients are notoriously difficult to bound using the standard positivity arguments.
In this talk, using a simplified model, I will argue how we might have a chance to determine sharp bounds on such coefficients.
I will discuss the introduction of the EFT cutoff within the Bootstrap constraints, and how to carve out the EFT region.
I will introduce the concept of Low Spin and UV Dominance, and how their measurement can give a quick picture of the physics at the boundary of the allowed space.
Finally, I will comment on the EFT cutoff dependence and how to use it to build a bridge between the bootstrap and the positivity bounds.
