Aim: BrightFocus provides research funds for researchers pursuing pioneering research leading to greater understanding, prevention, and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. This Postdoctoral fellowship awards are intended for young researchers in their final stages of mentored training. These awards fund projects in an established laboratory that will serve as the basis for the applicant's own independent research career.
Duration: 2 years
Funding: $ 200’000
Eligibility: Must be within 5 years of degree conferral.
How to Apply: BrightFocus employs a two-tiered review process in which proposals are first submitted by Letter of Intent. Letters of intent must be submitted through proposalCENTRAL. Instructions for use of the portal can be found here. If EPFL will serve as your host institution, please use the following institution name in proposalCENTRAL: Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL. Reviewers will invite the most enthusiastically reviewed Letters of Intent to submit a full application.
