Aim: BrightFocus provides research funds for U.S. and international researchers pursuing pioneering research leading to greater understanding, prevention, and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

Postdoctoral fellowship awards are intended for young researchers in their final stages of mentored training. These awards fund projects in an established laboratory that will serve as the basis for the applicant's own independent research career.

Duration: 2 years

Funding: USD $200’000

Eligibility: Fellowships are limited to researchers within 5 years of doctoral degree conferral (or end of residency).

How to Apply: Applications must be submitted through the online portal.  Instructions for use of the portal can be found here. More detailed instructions for the application can be downloaded once you’ve registered on the portal. When your proposal is complete, contact the Research Office for the institutional signature on the Signature Page.

Application Deadline: 01 November 2022 (5:00 pm EST)
