The National Research Programme “Welfare and Coercion” studies the legal and social dimensions of welfare and coercion, covering their history up to the present and looking ahead into the future.
 
The second call for projects of the NRP 76 focuses on the following topics:

  • Interactions between non-state actors and the state
  • Rights, proceedings, legal remedies
  • Economic entanglements
  • Transgenerational transmission of social, material and psychological disadvantages
  • Removal of children and adoptions in coercive situations.
 
Funding & Duration: max. CHF 400’000 for up to 36 months.
 
Evaluation criteria: consistency with the goals of NRP 76, Scientific quality, Inter-, multi- and transdisciplinarity, Relevance for policy, society and practice, Personnel and infrastructure.
 
Deadlines:
  • Submit your Letter of Intent by 22 August 2018 to [email protected] (not compulsory)
  • Submit your Full proposals: 15 November 2018 (5 p.m. CET) via mySNF
  • Decision: May 2019
  • Latest start of the project: August 2019
