Dr. Gabriela Montorzi: Programme Manager at the Council on Health Research for Development (COHRED). COHRED is an international non-governmental organization whose primary objective is to strengthen research for health and innovation systems, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. Gabriela holds a PhD in Life Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and a MA in Bioethics and Law from the University of Barcelona. Dr. Sylvia Generoso: Project manager at LaRevueDurable (LRD) since 2009. LRD is an organization whose main activity is the publication of a magazine on environment and sustainability and, which, in addition, tries to create awareness and empowerment about climate change, through leading various projects in the French speaking part of Switzerland and in France, in partnership with cities, universities, NGOs. Sylvia holds a PhD in atmospheric physics from the University of Paris 7 (2004). She has also previously worked 3 years as a post-doc at EPFL and 6 months as a research associate at International Risk Governance Council in Geneva. Dr. Julie Torode: Deputy CEO and Advocacy & Programmes Director of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). The Union for International Cancer Control or UICC is a membership based, non-governmental organization that exists to help the global health community accelerate the fight against cancer. Prior to joining UICC, Julie did a PhD and a postoc in chemistry and spent the last 10 years in Germany with various roles in the pharmaceutical industry with a particular focus on gynecological oncology. |
