The laboratory of Prof. Lim is developing novel molecular entities that modulate cellular signaling pathways with an emphasis on protein-protein interactions. They follow a multidisciplinary approach that includes synthetic organic chemistry, combinatorial chemistry, medicinal chemistry, high-throughput screening, biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology. They apply the identified compounds as probes to elucidate unknown functions of target proteins in biological systems, and to potentially develop therapeutics.
