Do you have a sustainable business idea? Start here – ClimateLaunchpad 2026
The program supports early-stage sustainable business ideas in developing their innovations into scalable business models.
ClimateLaunchpad (CLP) is part of Climate-KIC, Europe’s climate innovation agency. The competition is designed for entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators with green business ideas that either have not yet been established as a company or are less than two years old, have not generated significant revenue, and have received less than €200,000 in funding.
Relevant sectors include clean energy, circular economy, food systems, biodiversity, sustainable
mobility, and more.
Since its launch in 2014, ClimateLaunchpad has supported over 5,000 teams worldwide, delivered more than 500 training Boot Camps and enabled startups to raise more than €500 million in investment. Participants benefit from hands-on training, business model development support, and access to a global network of investors and industry experts.

The top three Swiss teams ideas will be awarded at the Swiss National Final and qualify for the European Regional Final. The first place will additionally travel to the Global Grand Finale (GGF) in Singapore, where the best international startups compete for global visibility and funding opportunities.
Startup Academy, the official partner of Climate-KIC in Switzerland, has been running ClimateLaunchpad at the national level since 2015. As a non-profit organization based on
volunteer work, it supports startups from all industries with a tailored support program and has been facilitating the exchange between people with business ideas and those with expertise and experience since 2010.
