Community-developed checklists for publishing images and image analyses

Images play a vital role in scientific breakthroughs, especially in modern biomedical research. The world of microscopy is advancing rapidly, but there were no standardized guidelines for presenting these images in publications. 

We’ll present the recently published paper in Nature Methods  : “Community-developed checklists for publishing images and image analyses” .
 
These checklists provide essential recommendations on image formatting, annotations, colors, data availability, and reporting image analysis methods. 
Everything you need to know to make microscopy data more transparent, reproducible, and ultimately, more informative.
