In non-attractor models of inflation the curvature perturbation does not freeze but continues to evolve on superhorizon scales, even in a single-field setup. Due to this peculiar behaviour, Maldacena’s consistency relation, which relates the inflationary bispectrum in the squeezed limit to the power spectrum and the spectral index, breaks down. In this talk, I show how the superhorizon non-freezing can be understood from symmetry arguments, and derive a new relation for the bispectrum’s squeezed limit valid for general non-attractor models of inflation.
