Erasmus Lecure. Brief historical description of astronomy, radioastronomy and Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). Space missions for CMB: COBE, WMAP and Planck missions. Microwave polarimeters to be installed in "El Teide" observatory, Tenerife, Canary Islands. Technical description of polarimeters: polar modulators, orthomode transducers, LNA, detectors.
