Euclidean field theories with exponential interaction in dimension d=2 have received considerable attention in recent years. The two most prominent examples are the Liouville model and the sinh-Gordon model. In this talk I will present coupling results between the these models and the Gaussian free field, which are obtained from a renormalisation group approach. The talk is based on a joint work with O. Zeitouni.
