Abstract:
This talk will explore the development and design of robots which can translate from inside the lab to complex environments, for agricultural and environmental monitoring applications.
Biography:
Josie Hughes is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at EPFL where she leads the CREATE Lab. Her group works on the development of novel design and fabrication methods for developing compliant robots which are robust to challenging tasks and environments and can operate in a variety of conditions and environments.
