Dr. Hrbud’s talk will provide a brief overview of electric propulsion technologies and its performance characteristics. Furthermore, she will illustrate her research in electric propulsion which marks her professional career. In particular, Dr. Hrbud will present her current research developing the RF plasma thruster concept as a viable alternative to other SOA micropropulsion systems, which addresses pertinent issues and alleviates most drawbacks of micropropulsion.
