This meeting is co-organized by the EPFL's Research Office and the ENAC Dean's office. The main objective is to inform about:
- Regulatory context for research involving ethical issues (When is ethical clearance needed ? Which body is competent?…)
- Ethical approval application process (duration, steps in the review process, costs).
- Important data protection and management considerations (e.g. sensitive vs. non-sensitive data).
Afterwards, members of the research office and/or the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) will be pleased to reply to any question. However, it would be very helpful for the preparation of the meeting if we could receive your questions by email by November 14th.
