[ EUROSPINE - Research funding on spine diseases and related problems | Research funding ]

Event details
Date | 31.01.2020 |
Category | Call for proposal |
EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe, aims to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the field of research, prevention and treatment of spine diseases and related problems and to coordinate efforts undertaken in European countries for further development in this field.
The most important criterion for an award is that the research should advance knowledge about the spine (its characteristics, injuries, disorders, and diseases). Any clinical or non-clinical application for research will be considered if it is related to the spine, with the following caveats:
- In clinical studies, case series will not be accepted.
- In non-clinical studies, product development will not be accepted.
EUROSPINE offers 3 types of grants:
- Development Grant: up to € 10,000 to develop a pilot study, taking a good idea to a feasible grant application.
- Pilot Study Grant: up to € 30,000 for 12 months for a formal pilot study prior to a full funding application.
- Main Study Grant: up to € 100,000 total over 36 months for formal experimental or observational studies answering a specific clinical or a basic science question.
Who can apply: The applicant or at least one member of the research team must be a member of EUROSPINE.
Deadline: 31 January 2020 at 24:00 CET
