Eurostars, a pan-european initiative, is aimed towards R&D-performing small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Eurostars supports the development of rapidly marketable innovative products, processes and services. Projects, which must be led by a SME, generally involve several international partners, including Research institutions. The maximum duration is 36 months. Swiss SMEs, Research Institutions and Larger companies are eligible to apply.
34 countries are members of Eurostars and a total funding of 1.14 billion Euros has been allocated for the period of 2014 – 2020.
Eurostars is part of the EUREKA framework and is managed by the SERI.
A maximum of 500,000 Euros funding per project, covering 50% of costs for Research Institutions and SMEs, will be provided. The hourly rates shown on this webpage, which already include 25% overheads, should be used to establish the budget.
