The Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) is launching a call for proposals on Transitions between zones with different vehicle control types (MB4_20_05B)

The project aims to identify typical transition zones between mixed traffic and the traffic of “pure” highly/fully automated and conventionally controlled vehicles and to gain insights into the dynamics and traffic safety in these zones.

Submission deadline :
The research proposal needs to be submitted in PDF by 24 September 2021 to the secretariat of the Working Group Mobility 4.0 via email ([email protected]).

Funding :

• CHF 150'000.- for 24 months

• The research proposal consists of two parts, Form 2 and the project description.
• The project description is a necessary appendix to Form 2 and must follow the structure presented in the call invitation.
• Research proposals and research reports shall be submitted in English
