During this talk we will investigate Lorentzian tori $(T,g)$ admitting a Killing field $X$ such that $g(X,X)$ vanishes and is not constant (the non elementary case). For example a Clifton-Pohl torus ie the quotient of $(\mathbf R^2\setminus \{0\}, \frac{2 dx dy}{x^2+y^2}$ by an homothety. Such a torus is never geodesically complete, the best way to see it is probably to construct non trivial extensions of its universal cover. We will see that among these extensions there always exists one all of whose lightlike geodesics are complete and that in the analytical setting this extension is unique.
