Precision measurements of the properties of the recently discovered Higgs boson at a hadron collider
require a precise knowledge of the inclusive production cross section. We review the most precise predictions
for the Higgs cross section at a hadron collider, focusing on the recent computation of the N3LO QCD corrections.
We show that the uncertainty coming from QCD scale uncertainty is substantially reduced. We also comment on
potential other sources of uncertainty which might challenge the remaining QCD scale uncertainty in the future.
