The H&M Foundation is looking for early stage ideas presenting new circular approaches intended to reinvent the fashion industry. The foundation is seeking innovations:
- with digital technologies applications (e.g. connectivity, robotics, artificial intelligence, data, internet of things, machine learning) to make fashion circular.
- related to waste recovery, recycling or aimed at zero-waste.
- supporting a climate positive fashion industry.
Who can apply: any individual or group of up to 5 people over 18 years of age anywhere in the world, as well as institutions, organizations and social business.
Who cannot apply: commercial entities
Funding:
- Between EUR 150’000 and EUR 300’000 grant
- 1-year personalised innovation accelerator, including trips to Stockholm, New York and Shanghai, offering exclusive industry insights and networking opportunities.
Timeline of the call:
- Opening of the call: 29 August 2018
- Deadline: 17 October 2018
- Decision: April 2019
Evaluation process:
- H&M Foundation, KTH and Accenture will shortlist 20 applications.
- H&M Foundation will interview the shortlisted applicants and select 15 finalists.
- An International expert panel will pick the 5 winners.
